‘5’ Point Someone! DID NUMEROLOGY PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE SMASH HIT, 3 IDIOTS? 3 Idiots has been smashing all Box Office records and is also touted to be the next ‘Sholay’ of Indian cinema. But did the Numbers game have any contribution here? Destined to do well, and as predicted much earlier, the film adds to No 23 or 5 which is amongst Aamir’s best Numbers. In fact his earlier blockbuster, Lagaan added to 5 too! Not only that, even his up-coming films Dhobi Ghat and Delhi Belly add to 5 too! In fact, co-producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra too is a # 5 {05/09}; his runaway hit Munna Bhai MBBS added to 41 & so did the working title of the sequel Munna Bhai MMG {MMG, means Meets Mahatma Gandhi}. Most of the film was reportedly shot under this name. his other Hit film, Parineeta adds to 5 too! No wonder then that the date used in 3 Idiots by Rancho & Chatur to meet after ten years was 5th Sept! Believe it or not, Aamirs’ screen name, Rancho adds to 5 too! {R=2, A=1, N=5, C=3, H=5, 0=7} The Taxi which was used in the film had a Number plate adding to 5 too, as per Numerology! Chetan Bhagat’s best-seller book from which the film was inspired, ‘5 Point Someone has a No 5 too! It’s therefore a pity that excepting Yash Chopra, no other producer could sense his great chemistry with fellow # 5, Kajol {05/08} as proved in Fanaa. Too many co-incidences? Read on… Born on 14/03/1965, Aamir is governed by # 5, Mercury, # 3, Jupiter & # 2, Moon; Mercury gifts communication skills and versatility, while Jupiter, wealth, and Moon, gifts of imagination. As predicted in Filmfare, he remarried in his 41st year {41=5}. In the same article, Aamir was also advised to use No 3 & 6 as his other lucky Numbers. No wonder then that all his past 3 blockbusters have been released on dates adding to 3 & 6, two of them also on the same very date, ie 24th December! While Taare Zameen Par released on 21st, Ghajini & 3 Idiots were released on 24th December. One may think that the releases were slated on Christmas, 25th, but the fact of the matter is that they were released a day earlier on 24th in the form of ‘paid previews’. Can’t call ‘him’ an idiot, after all this, can you? We Idiots! Taare Zameen Par which added to 6 was also predicted by us to do well in Film Information, a leading Trade Guide. While Ghajhini was supposed to be the title, in an interview, Sanjay B Jumaani told the writer that with one ‘H’ less, it would add up well. And one ‘H’ did make a ‘H’ell lot of difference!
